How do I start?
You can record with the Mac app today. We're also testing an invite-only web recorder for Chrome and Edge on computers, without the Mac app. We'll confirm your device and audio setup before a beta pilot. You can read saved notes in a browser, including on your phone.

Does it understand Taglish?
English, Filipino, and the mix of the two that most of our meetings actually happen in. You don't need to choose a language first. Talino naman si Ube.
How did you count Taglish switches?

In our own weekly meetings, Ube counted about 380 switches between English and Tagalog per meeting, nearly 4 a minute.

Internal sample: two Ube weekly meetings, 27 Sept and 4 Oct 2026 (202 minutes). Counted from Ube’s transcripts as adjacent English and Tagalog words within the same transcript segment; neutral, mixed or unclear words excluded; not manually checked against the audio.

Where do recordings go?
Ube records meeting audio to make your transcripts and notes. Hosted recordings are stored in the Singapore region of a major cloud provider, encrypted at rest and sent over HTTPS. The Mac recorder also keeps a local audio copy on your computer. Ube doesn't save meeting video. We use external AI providers, so AI processing may happen outside Singapore. We can walk through providers, retention and deletion in an enterprise data review.

May transcript na. Bakit Ube?
Puwede n'yo namang gamitin ang existing tools n'yo. But here at the Ube team, we've tried pretty much every other solution under the sun, and none of them met the bar when it came to Taglish meeting notes. So we decided to build our own.
